The first is a recording of my compositions for voice(s) and chamber ensemble. It features 5 works:
• The Virtues
• As Though the Word Blue Had Been Dropped Into the Water
• Vigil Strange I Kept On the Field One Night
• Burnaby Mountain Song: Eurydice
• Running Into the Sea.
These pieces were recorded over 6 years at three different venues in Vancouver. The musicianship is stellar; I am so honoured to have so many talented musicians play my music with so much love and emotion! It is released on the Centrediscs label of the Canadian Music Centre.
The second is Canadiana Suite, my cycle of Canadian Folk Songs. Featuring arrangements of songs from across Canada, including Indigenous songs, this is a fun, accessible collection.
